School Friends
School friends are a precious lot. These are our favorite people and we often relate to all the silly experiences, mock fights and competitive spirit whenever we remember them. The alma mater is reckoned with discipline and mandatory rules and all children love the concept of schooling. School friend’s graduate and a few of them still hang close. Various streams of education are chosen after the crucial years and it becomes imperative for people to make career choices that also separate them as per geography.
The rules in school when flouted have severe consequences. The good company of our friends and counselors make us realize our follies and aid us to be a good human being. The recess break for Tiffin is a memory which is the most nostalgic compared to anything else. The whiff of dosa from our friend’s box or the sharing of chocolate on birthdays seemed like little joys that are God sent.
School time is also about healthy competition. The academic years urge us to study hard and win the first rank in the class. Teachers appreciating us or the juniors looking at us in awe are a great feeling. The need to maintain the grades is also seen while competing with your best buddy to win the first place. Certificates, medals and honor seem a part of sharing the victory stand with our friends. Friendships in school often blossom to everlasting experiences.
Peers also can be befriended and there is a lot of learn from them. The annual day performance requires lot of practice. This is great time as you set aside many hours to get the dialogues in the play right or learn tough dance steps. Bonding here is a natural experience. There is great joy in leading the class on an excursion trip with yummy eats distributed among your classmates. The joy doubles while deciding a surprise for Teachers day and making a simple card with heartfelt feelings.
